FINDLAY, Ohio — A 17-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Findlay early Tuesday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Dane Green-Moran of Findlay was traveling north on I-75 just before 1:30 a.m. when it swerved off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. OSHP said the car continued off the roadway and struck a ditch culvert before becoming fully engulfed by fire.
According to OSHP, fire crews extinguished the fire a short time later. Green-Moran died at the scene of the crash.
OSHP said it is unknown if a seatbelt was used, but believes impairment is not a factor.
