HANCOCK COUNTY, Ohio — Two people were killed and another suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash about 10 miles southeast of Findlay early Friday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Brian Post, 54, and Sonja Dodds-Post, 60, both of Findlay, were traveling northbound on Township Road 190 in a minivan just before 5:30 p.m. and passed through the intersection with state Route 15 when a pickup truck traveling westbound on the highway hit their vehicle, OSHP said.
Post was pronounced dead at the scene. Dodds-Post was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The pickup truck driver, a 29-year-old from Minnesota, was treated at the scene.
All three involved were wearing seatbelts and the crash is under investigation, according to OSHP.
State Route 15 was closed due to the crash but has since reopened.
