SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — A Fremont man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in Sandusky County on Saturday evening.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Timothy Spradlin was riding east on East State Street in Ballville Township approaching a red light at Smith Road. At the same time a car being driven by a 27-year-old Fremont man was driving west on East State Street approaching Smith Road with a green turn arrow.

When Spradlin failed to stop at the light, his bike struck the car as it was turning left, according to OSHP.
