HURON COUNTY, Ohio — Three children not in child safety seat restraints and an adult, who was wearing a seatbelt, were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Huron County Friday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A four-year-old was taken by air ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries after the crash shortly before 3 p.m. about 15 miles south of Norwalk County. A one-year-old, three-year-old and the 40-year-old adult driver "sustained possible injuries," according to the release from OSHP.

OSHP says the adult, driving a minivan, went off the road and hit a ditch and guardrail.

First responders treated the one-year-old and three-year-old at the scene. The adult was taken to an area hospital.

OSHP says the crash is under investigation.
