PAULDING COUNTY, Ohio — Three people were injured and taken to the hospital after an "amusement-type ride" fell while being constructed Friday afternoon in Paulding County.
According to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, they were dispatched at 1:50 p.m. to 14260 SR 613 in Jackson Township for three injured people.
One man was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Wayne and two other adult males were transported to local hospitals by "ground units." The condition of the victims is unknown.
The sheriff's office said the ride fell while being constructed for an event at Mercer Landmark. According to the sheriff's office, the equipment is owned and was being constructed by A&S Party Rental.
