PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Four people were injured, including a pedestrian following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Perrysburg Township.
The crash happened at approximately 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 25 and Five Point Road.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, an 81-year-old woman was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Five Point Road, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 33-year-old woman.
OSHP said a motorist stopped to help the drivers after their vehicles were disabled in the roadway. According to troopers, while the motorist was assisting, a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old woman was traveling northbound on State Route 25 and hit the disabled vehicles and the disabled vehicles struck the assisting motorist.
OSHP said the assisting motorist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The 81-year-old and 33-year-old both suffered minor injuries, and the 39-year-old driver who struck the disabled vehicles was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to OSHP.
