HANCOCK COUNTY, Ohio — A 45-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Hancock County Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of State Route 235 and County Road 96 in Blanchard Township around 8:13 a.m.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, a 30-year-old from Findlay was traveling east on CR 96 and failed to stop at a stop sign at SR 235.
The driver struck a vehicle driven by Timothy Brown, 45, of McComb, traveling north on SR 235.
The sheriff's office said both vehicles overturned and came to rest in a field. Authorities said Brown was ejected from the vehicle and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The 30-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the sheriff's office said.
According to the sheriff's office, the crash is under investigation.
