A Plus Rentals building in Tiffin catches fire

East Perry Street remains closed between Circular and Jefferson streets. The fire started about 2:30 a.m.

The A Plus Rentals building in Tiffin caught fire in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Nov. 16.

TIFFIN, Ohio — Fire crews in Tiffin were battling a large structure fire Tuesday morning.

Tiffin fire responded to the A Plus Rentals building on East Perry Street about 2:30 a.m. According to a Tweet from Mayor Aaron Montz, crews remained on scene as of 9 a.m.

East Perry remains closed between Circular and Jefferson streets.

Please avoid East Perry Street between Jefferson and Circular Streets. Due to a large scale structure fire, the road is closed until further notice. Hats off to the members of the Tiffin Fire and Rescue Division who have been on scene battling the blaze since roughly 2:30am. https://t.co/Px7XCz5lDa
