WALBRIDGE, Ohio — A search warrant was executed Wednesday morning at Adler's Auto Parts and Service on Lemoyne Road in Lake Township.
A detective with the Toledo police auto theft unit said five stolen cars were found on the lot. A stolen 2006 Maserati bumper, which was recovered in scrapyard in Detroit, sparked this investigation, police said.
A Detroit detective did a salvage inspection, which revealed a VIN number to a stolen vehicle in Walbridge.
Authorities executed a search warrant Wednesday morning, and the five stolen cars were found in the lot, police said.
