WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — Nature's Nursery in Whitehouse announced that Battle of the Birdhouses is returning for its fifth year to help raise funds for local wildlife.
Local individuals or teams will have the opportunity to grab a hammer and some nails, get creative and build a birdhouse that will be auctioned online. The one sold for the highest price will win $500 from Genoa Bank.
Nature's Nursery said completed birdhouses are due by Sept. 29 at the Genoa Bank location on Conant Street in Maumee.

“Battle Of The Birdhouses was first launched in 2020 with over 25 birdhouses entered and over $3,500 raised for wildlife rehab,” said Allison Aey, Nature’s Nursery executive director. “It’s become one of our annual fundraisers that people really look forward to. It’s fun to see the creative birdhouses that people build and the ideas that they come up with.”
