TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after a bouncer at an east Toledo bar was stabbed Friday night.

Police said the 32-year-old man was working at a bar at 2053 Starr Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Friday when a fight broke out between two patrons.

As the bouncer attempted to break up the fight, one of the patrons involved, Tyrone Hutchinson, 42, of Toledo, stabbed the bouncer in the left arm, according a report from Toledo police.

Hutchinson was taken into custody at the scene after the incident, police said.

The bouncer was taken to a local hospital with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.
