BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — One person was hospitalized and 18 units were affected by a fire at an apartment building in Bowling Green early Wednesday evening.
The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
The chief of the Bowling Green Fire Division told WTOL 11 there was heavy smoke and fire in the middle of the building on Parkview Drive just east of North Main Street.
Winds in the area worsened the fire and caused it to spread, reaching the attic of the building, according to BGFD.
Bowling Green police on social media advised the public to avoid the area of North Main Street as crews respond to the fire.
Fire crews from Perrysburg assisted BGFD at the scene.
A viewer provided WTOL 11 with the following video of the scene on Wednesday.
