TOLEDO, Ohio — Buckeye Cable Sports Network is celebrating 20 years on the air this month.
Founded in 2003, BCSN broadcast its first event from Owens Community College on Jan. 7, 2004.
To mark the anniversary, BCSN officials say the regional sports news operation plans to celebrate throughout 2024 with special programming.
Owned by Block Communications, BCSN covers local and regional sports events for high school and college athletics. The network broadcasts full games and also has studio-based programming and special interviews.
BCSN also has broadcast some Toledo Walleye and Columbus Crew games.
BCSN also has a podcast and a BCSN + streaming app.
