TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities are investigating a central Toledo house fire that damaged a home early Friday.
Toledo Fire and Rescue crews responded to the 2600 block of Brentwood Avenue around 4:30 a.m. regarding a house fire. Crews battled the blaze, which authorities said was on the second floor of the home.
A TFRD sergeant on scene told WTOL 11 they did not locate anyone at the home at the time, and determined there were no injuries at the scene. There was a dog in the backyard of the home, acting skittish while crews investigated.
EMS crews were on scene early on, but ultimately left, a neighbor said.
The home had visible damage on the front of the house on the second floor.
