City of Oregon reopening offices to public

Following directives from Gov. Mike DeWine's office and the Ohio Department of Health, offices will be open Monday, June 1, from 1 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

OREGON, Ohio — Oregon Mayor Mike Seferian announced Wednesday the city will reopen its offices to the public after being closed over COVID-19 concerns.

Following directives from Gov. Mike DeWine's office and the Ohio Department of Health, offices will be open Monday, June 1, from 1 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you need assistance with tax, water billing, assessments, building and zoning, or public services, the city asks you to call to schedule an appointment. Staff is also reminding the public that there is a drop-off box at the northeast entrance for tax documents and water bills.

Entry will be through the center municipal doors only and face coverings are required. Additionally, once entering the building, social distancing and keeping 6-feet apart from each other are required.

Throughout the closure period, the offices have been staffed and the public has been served by phone, email and online.

You can go to the city's website to find a list of phone numbers to call ahead and make an appointment.
