TOLEDO, Ohio — The city of Toledo is offering a free roundabout training session as part of the city's Vision Zero initiative, aimed at eliminating traffic-related deaths and injuries.
Roundabouts are built to help reduce intersection crashes and control traffic. The session will provide an opportunity for drivers who are unsure about using roundabouts, to gain confidence and skills when using them as more are built around the city.
The session will be held Monday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Joe E. Brown Park in north Toledo. A certified instructor will be on-site to offer 15-minute individual sessions.
Participants are asked to sign up by 8 p.m. on Nov. 17 to secure a spot. To sign up for a reservable time slot, click here. The city asks that participants arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled session.
