TOLEDO, Ohio — Crews are on the scene of a house fire in north Toledo Thursday morning.
The fire is happening at a home in the 3300 block of Maple.
Crews say the fire started in a bedroom on the first floor.
Firefighters were initially told that someone was in the house, but they never found anyone inside.
The dog warden was called to the scene for the dogs that were in the backyard of the home.
A fire investigator was also called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
Crews say the home suffered major damage.
