TOLEDO, Ohio — According to Toledo police, a south Toledo driver was seriously injured in a crash that happened shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Police responded to the crash located near the intersection of South Detroit Avenue and South Avenue.
A press statement from TPD indicates that a 35-year-old man was backing into his driveway on Detroit Avenue when another vehicle traveling southbound on Detroit crashed into his vehicle.
Police said the second vehicle was driven by a 31-year-old from south Toledo, who was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries following the collision.
Authorities said the man who was backing his vehicle into his driveway was not injured in the crash.
