OSHP: 'Drug-impaired' driver detained after crashing into Holland home

The occupants of the home were not injured and the driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

HOLLAND, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has detained a driver for "drug-impaired driving" after they crashed into a home in Holland Tuesday night, a trooper told WTOL 11.

The occupants of the home near the intersection of South Crissey and Old State Line roads were not injured. The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized after the crash, according to OSHP.

The trooper told WTOL 11 that the driver was traveling east on Old State Line Road and failed to stop at the intersection with South Crissey Road and crashed into a home at about 9:30 p.m.

The extent of the damage to the home is unclear at this time.
