Driver hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after Hancock County crash

The driver was ejected from the vehicle after the crash early Wednesday evening on I-75 in Union Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ohio — A driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries early Wednesday evening after a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Hancock County.

The 37-year-old driver was traveling southbound on the interstate at about 5:45 p.m. and "failed to negotiate a curve," according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, hitting a ditch, two trees and a fence before overturning and coming to a rest on County Road 313.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle, according to OSHP.

The crash is still under investigation.
