TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man sustained potentially life-threatening injuries in a south Toledo crash Friday afternoon, according to the Toledo Police Department.
Scott Ditzler, 55, was pulling out of a private drive on Broadway Street at about 2:20 p.m. when he accelerated and struck the rear end of a vehicle driving northeast on Broadway.
Ditzler suffered broken bones in the crash. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were not injured, according to TPD.
The incident is under investigation, TPD said.
