FINDLAY, Ohio — A cyclist had to be transported to the hospital in Findlay on Saturday evening after being struck by a hit and run driver, according to Findlay police.
The crash happened on the 3300 block of North Main Street near Northcliff Drive around 8:20 p.m.
Findlay police say 20-year-old Caleb Dutton, from Findlay, was riding his electric bicycle north on Main Street when he struck from behind by a driver who then fled the scene.
Police say Dutton suffered an apparent head wound as a result of the crash and was taken to the hospital.
Dutton’s injury is unknown at this time.
Police did not describe the vehicle that struck Dutton.
