TOLEDO, Ohio — In the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 11 two suspects attempted to break in to two Stop N Go locations in West Toledo.
At 3:47 a.m. Monday morning 911 received an alarm call from the Stop N Go at 1702 West Laskey Road.
When officers from the Toledo Police Department arrived, they observed that a break in had occurred at the location. At 3:59 a.m. that same morning, another alarm was triggered at the Stop N Go off of Monroe Street. Once at the second location, police discovered that a cinder block had been used to attempt to break the glass front door of the business, but it was unsuccessful.
Authorities were aware of a suspect vehicle in connection two the two incidents. The vehicle, a silver Chevy Impala, received several hits on Toledo's FLOCK system. Police were able to stop the vehicle at 1300 Grand Avenue and two suspects were detained.
Evidence of the break in was recovered from the vehicle.
