TOLEDO, Ohio — Equality Toledo announced Wednesday the relocation of its office to a new space within the Planned Parenthood building.
The new office is located at 1301 Jefferson Avenue in downtown Toledo.
Equality Toledo said the move will allow it to "host more events, offer additional resources, and continue our mission to eliminate discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression."
“We are thrilled to begin this new chapter in our journey,” Brent Rabie, executive director of Equality Toledo said. “This move not only provides us with a modern and accessible space but also strengthens our partnership with Planned Parenthood. Together, we can better serve the needs of our community, particularly those most vulnerable to discrimination and health disparities.”
The nonprofit organization said the proximity to Planned Parenthood also allows collaboration on initiatives targeted at promoting comprehensive sexual health education, access to reproductive health services, and advocacy for policy changes that protect and empower individuals."

Equality Toledo is hosting an open house on Friday, Sept. 27 from 6-8 p.m. The organization said community members, supporters and local leaders will get a chance to tour the new space.
