TOLEDO, Ohio — Everyone is safe after a house fire in west Toledo on Sunday evening.

Toledo Fire and Rescue responded to the fire on Inverness Ave. around 8:50 p.m. after a neighbor called in the fire.

Two people who live in the home, a male and a female, were able to get out of the house.

According to TFRD, the garage attached to the home burned down with a vehicle inside.

In addition, siding to the house was heavily damaged.

A neighbors siding was also damaged.

TFRD says a neighbor reported hearing a “boom” during the fire but it has been determined that it was no related to any gas running in the home.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
