TOLEDO, Ohio — The Fair Housing Center in Toledo has launched a survey to collect feedback on Toledo residents' views about their housing experiences and to help eliminate barriers to fair housing choice.
The Fair Housing Center said every five years, they conduct research to "uncover barriers to fair housing choice in our community." They said the research done helps develop an Action Plan to help eliminate barriers.
The Fair Housing Center said previously identified barriers have included child lead poisoning, source of income discrimination and access to water services.
The non-profit said the study aims to hear from Toledo residents about their housing experiences. The Fair Housing Center said the survey will help them and the city of Toledo "with valuable insight which will inform future policies to guarantee all people in Toledo get equal chances for safe and affordable housing."
The Fair Housing Center said by taking the survey, residents will shape future housing policies, promote equity and inclusion and improve the community.
According to the Fair Housing Center website, you could be eligible to win a $50 gift card for filling out the survey. The survey can be found HERE.
