TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a fire that left two people without a home in west Toledo.
The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Warwick Avenue near Dorr Street.
Fire crews at the scene told WTOL 11 a man was sleeping on the first floor when he heard the sound of a pop on the second floor of the home. When he went upstairs he saw massive flames and quickly escaped.
No injuries were reported.
Officials at the scene told WTOL 11 the man live in the home with his brother, who was not present when the fire started.
The flames left extensive damage to the home.
