SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Fire Station Bar and Grill announced that they will be closing their doors "for good" on Sunday.

The restaurant in Springfield Township, located at 6040 Knights Inn Place near Airport Highway and South Holland Sylvania Road, made the announcement on their Facebook Friday and said they are closing effective 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Fire Station Bar and Grill said in the post that they were closing, "due to circumstances beyond our control, like higher food costs, higher employee costs, higher overhead costs and the economy being in a bad state."

The restaurant said that they will be honoring gift cards until Sunday, and desserts will be $3 except the inferno indulgence.

"We would also like to thank our loyal customers. Thank you for giving us a try and continuing to come back and support us," the post said.

The restaurant closed in 2021 under the previous owner, citing a lack of staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, but reopened with a new owner and operator in May 2023.
