Firefighters battle early morning blaze at central Toledo home

Fire officials at the scene told WTOL the fire started in the upstairs portion of the home.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Fire is investigating after early morning flames ripped through a home in central Toledo.

The blaze happened around 4 a.m. on Elliot Avenue.

Fire officials at the scene told WTOL the blaze started in the upstairs portion of the home. No cause has been determined.

No one was inside the home at the time, according to officials at the scene.
