LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Jerusalem Township early Tuesday morning.
The fire happened at a home on Rialto Dr. in the Reno Beach neighborhood.
Firefighters say the call for the fire came in around 2:45 a.m.
At first, crews were not able to search the home because flames were too heavy. Firefighters have since done a preliminary search and have found nothing indicating anyone was in the home at the time of the fire.
A firefighter suffered a minor arm sprain while fighting the fire and was sent to the hospital.
When crews arrived to the scene, they said the home was fully engulfed in flames. The bulk of the fire is out and crews are now working on putting out remaining hot spots.
Water supply has been an issue fighting this fire.
Jerusalem Township Fire, Carroll Township Fire, Allen-Clay Fire, Portage Fire and Toledo life squad are all on scene.
