FULTON COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — One person was airlifted to the hospital due to serious injuries sustained in a crash with a garbage truck in German Township, Fulton County, on Thursday.
Valerie Keefer, 56, of Fayette was driving southbound on County Road 20 when she was struck by a garbage driving westbound on U.S. 20A that she did not yield the right of way to, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a press release.
The garbage truck driver was not taken to the hospital, OSHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
