TOLEDO, Ohio — GM Propulsion Systems in Toledo is temporarily laying off approximately 250 Local 14 workers.
No other reason was given for the layoffs other than a "change in schedule," according to GM. The layoffs will take place on the weeks of Feb. 12 and Feb. 26.
The layoffs impact all production employees assigned to the 8-speed transmission Front-Wheel Drive line and workers will not be shifted to other plants.
