TOLEDO, Ohio — Halloween is among us.. and the Candy Store has everything you need to know about what to get and what not to get, as far as candy.
According to the Candy Store, nationwide, the most popular Halloween candy for 2024 is M&M's. For the first time ever, M&M's have dethroned Reese's Cups as the number one candy for Halloween. Reese's Cups comes in second place, followed by Sour Patch Kids in third.
In Ohio, the number one Halloween candy is Blow Pops. That is then followed by M&M's and Starbursts.
In Michigan, Starbursts take the number one spot, followed by Candy Corn and Butterfingers.
The Candy Store has also released the 10 worst Halloween Candies to warn us all on what you may not want to get. In first place once again, Circus Peanuts took the spot. Second place was given to Peanut Butter Kisses, and Candy Corn landed in third.
Love or hate them, the variety of candy is what makes Halloween special to all.
