Harold Jaffe Jewelers going out of business with Jeff Jaffe's retirement

'Unfortunately this means Harold Jaffe Jewelers as you know it, is going out of business,' the store announced on social media Monday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A west Toledo jewelry store will soon close up shop after over 75 years in business.

Harold Jaffe Jewelers, which opened in 1946, is going out of business, according to an announcement posted Monday on the store's social media page.

Jeff Jaffe is retiring and with his retirement, Harold Jaffe Jewelers will close.

According to a Facebook post, over $8 million in inventory will be sold at up to 70% off, including engagement rings and wedding bands, diamond earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and more.

The store has announced hours for the sale starting Thursday.
