TOLEDO, Ohio — Several roadways in east Toledo were shut down Monday afternoon due to a hazardous material leak, according to the Toledo Police Department.
Traffic going both directions on Front Street, Euclid Avenue, Oak Street and 1st Street was shut down shortly after 3 p.m. on Dec. 18 after a pickup truck struck a Toledo Edison pole and a transformer.
Following the collision, the truck began leaking a hazardous material. TFRD was dispatched to the scene to help with cleanup efforts.
No one was injured during the incident and no arrests were made.
