TOLEDO (WTOL) - Famous Toledo son Jamie Farr returned to his roots Monday with an appearance at the Swamp Shop.
The M*A*S*H star, who put Toledo on the map with his role of the Tony Packo’s-pining Maxwell Clinger on the hit TV show, stopped by the Mud Hens' and Walleye souvenir shop Monday afternoon.
A tweet from the Mud Hens shows the 84-year-old talking with guests and officials and checking out the merchandise, including a M*A*S*H-inspired “Holy Toledo” shirt.
He also made an appearance at Packo’s, perhaps satisfying his inner Corporal Klinger.
