Jupmode planning to move to new location by the end of summer

The company's marketing and social media director said it needs more space as they make more than 500 shirts a day with up to 40 employees.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Local t-shirt company Jupmode is soon saying goodbye to its Adams Street shop with plans to move locations.

The company's marketing and social media director said they need more space as they make more than 500 shirts a day with up to 40 employees.

The company will move from its Adams Street location to 1811 Monroe St. by the end of the summer.

Jupmode said although hundreds of shirts are made, the business has also made it its mission to keep up with its nonprofit promotions.

The community shirt club promotion is held every other month. Jupmode creates exclusively designed t-shirts for local nonprofits. $5 from each shirt sale will go to the organizations.

Jupmode said they have 300 nonprofits, charities and local businesses so far that it worked to support throughout their years in business.

"We just want to showcase those organizations, nonprofits, charities that make an impact in Toledo and we want to do something for them as well." Jupmode marketing specialist Stephen Gullette said. "We just got done with Hope Toledo, we've done 577 Foundation, Bittersweet Farms, and Unruly Arts. This is a Sophia Quintero and then our upcoming one in July will be Justice for Sierah."

Jupmode said it chose the new space because of the investments made in downtown Toledo over the last few years. Gullette said they believe in the area and they take pride in Toledo.

"Being a Toledo company, we love giving back to the community and making a difference," Gullette said. "I think it's important for local businesses to give back to other local organizations and charities and I think me personally working at a company that does that is so rewarding and fulfilling and it's just great."
