LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — The Lucas County Board of Elections announced new voting equipment has been acquired for the September primary election.

The board is planning to host informal public demonstrations of the equipment for the public so they can see how it works and answer any questions voters might have.

The demonstrations will be held the week of July 29 through August 3 at the Early Voting Center at 13021 Monroe Street.

The hours for the demonstrations will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 3.
