TOLEDO, Ohio — One man was hospitalized after a serious vehicle crash in south Toledo Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. near the corner of Hill Avenue and South Byrne Road when the driver, who was driving eastbound on Hill Avenue, lost control of the vehicle.

According to Toledo Fire & Rescue crews at the scene, one vehicle jumped the curb and drove a few feet before hitting a truck. The car then went airborne and tumbled through the Pepsi parking lot, hitting four additional cars before coming to a stop.
