TOLEDO, Ohio — A man suffered severe injuries after a car hauler rolled over him in south Toledo on Monday morning.
According to Toledo police, Mark Hoover, 61, of Thornville, Ohio, was the owner-operator of a semi car hauler. TPD said he had loaded two vehicles onto the car hauler around 10 a.m. in the 3600 block of Marine Road when it is believed he began to experience mechanical issues with the truck.
Police said Hoover laid under the car hauler "in an attempt to figure the problem out." While underneath the truck, it began to roll in reverse and rolled over him.
TPD said Hoover was taken to the hospital for severe injuries. At this time, his current condition is unknown.
