TOLEDO, Ohio — One man was shot during a large parking lot gathering in south Toledo early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 3100 block of Frenchman's Road.
Crews arrived at the scene to find a man laying in the parking lot after being shot.
Police say the victim was alert and talking as he was being taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown at this time.
The shooter fled the scene before police arrived.
Police say the crowd ended up at the location to party and hang out after they were kicked out of the parking lot at Detroit and Monroe.
