What to know about the Maumee Film Festival

The film festival will feature short and feature-length films over the course of two days.

TOLEDO, Ohio — After a four-year hiatus, the Maumee Film Festival will return, showcasing short and feature-length films during the two-day event. 

Festivities kick off on Friday with a VIP event at Buster Browns Big Dog Lounge, also on Conant Street. This event lasts from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The festival itself, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, will be held at the historic Maumee Indoor Theatre on Conant Street. Films will be showcased on both of the theatre's screens starting at 11:30 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. 

Among the showcased are seven feature length films and numerous short films, the latter of which include pieces from around the country and beyond.

The festival will culminate with an awards ceremony and networking event at 7 p.m. in Theater #1 Sunday. 

VIP admission costs $80. Single-day tickets are $20, while two-day tickets are $30 each. To get tickets, click here
