Mercy Health's mobile mammography van to visit area locations throughout October

The mobile mammography van is scheduled to visit 23 different locations throughout the month of October.
Mercy Health's mobile mammography unit eliminates financial or geographic barriers that may be keeping someone from getting a mammogram.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Mercy Health's mobile mammography van will be making stops throughout northwest Ohio in October.

Mercy Health said the mobile mammography unit is customized for patient convenience and delivers 3D mammograms to women aged 40 and older.

According to Mercy Health, the mobile unit offers patients the option of self-compression, meaning the patient can control the compression once they are in position.

Mercy Health said the unit will make access to mammography services easier and that early diagnosis of breast cancer has proven better outcomes.

Screenings at the mobile unit are by appointment only. To schedule your screening, call 833-MAMM-VAN (833-626-6826).
