TOLEDO, Ohio — A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle, west Toledo crash Thursday morning.
According to a press release from the Toledo Police Department, Thomas Karnowski, 51, of Toledo, was driving westbound on West Laskey Road approaching Custer Drive at approximately 10:45 a.m. At the same time, the driver of a vehicle was driving eastbound down Laskey Road toward Custer, and attempted to turn left onto northeast Laskey Road.
The two vehicles collided. Karnowski was taken to the hospital and later died.
The driver of the second vehicle was injured and taken to the hospital by Toledo Fire and Rescue.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
