AYERSVILLE, Ohio — A 36-year-old Defiance man had to be flown to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Defiance County on Saturday afternoon.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Sean McCague was driving east on Defiance Ayersville Pleasant Bend Road just east of Harris Road around 1:18 p.m. on Saturday when his motorcycle went off the right side of the road.
McCague suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and had to be flown to a hospital in Toledo, according to OSHP.
McCague was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been a factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
