TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Police are continuing to investigate a motorcycle crash that left one person hospitalized in north Toledo on Sunday, July 14.
According to police, the crash occurred around 4:40 a.m. on the West Manhattan Boulevard and Blanchard Street roundabout.
Investigators report that a motorcyclist, a 41-year-old Toledo man, was driving westbound on Manhattan Boulevard towards the roundabout when he failed to properly turn into the roundabout.
As a result, authorities state the man went off the road into the center median, where he came to a final rest.
Responding officers said the man was transported to a local hospital for 'severe blunt force trauma'.
The severity of the man's injuries and his current condition remain unclear.
Police are continuing an investigation into the incident.
