Driver seriously injured in north Toledo crash, police say

The single-vehicle crash happened in north Toledo near Manhattan Boulevard and Blanchard Street just after 8 p.m. on Monday, according to a Toledo police sergeant.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A driver was hospitalized with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in north Toledo Monday night, according to police.

The crash at the intersection of West Manhattan Boulevard and Blanchard Street happened at about 8:10 p.m., according to a Toledo police sergeant at the scene.

Responding police found the driver, an adult, unconscious in their vehicle following the crash. Further details about their condition are unknown at this time.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
