WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — A tree fell onto a home in Whitehouse as a thunderstorm cell moved through Lucas County and much of northwest Ohio Wednesday evening.
No one was injured and the house sustained minor damage, according to the homeowner.
The owner of the home, nearby North Texas Street in the north end of Whitehouse, said the tree knocked out her power cable. She said she is staying with family due to the sweltering heat wave that is sweeping through the Midwest and bringing high temperatures to the mid to upper 90s in northwest Ohio this week.
