According to a media release, the incident happened at approximately 12:34 p.m. on Saturday. An initial investigation showed that a Subaru 23-year-old Jackson Williams of Broadview Heights drove off the left side of the highway after losing control of his vehicle.

Williams' vehicle then struck the concrete median, came back into the roadway and struck the trailer of a semi-tractor, operated by 30-year-old Jonathan Pate of Texas. A Dodge Ram, operated by 59-year-old Gary Clark of Michigan, then struck the two vehicles after they collided in the roadway.

Williams was pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews arrived. Pate and Clark did not suffer any injuries because of the crash.

OSHP say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
