PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio — A semitrailer driver in Ohio was doing his pre-trip inspection when he discovered a kitten stuck in between the truck's tires.
The driver found the small white and gray kitten on May 14 on the Ohio Turnpike in Portage County.
Body-camera video from the Ohio State Highway Patrol showed the driver and other men trying to decide how to free the feline.
A tow truck was used to help lift the semi and get the kitten out, but it seemingly made its way into the wheel well.
The men decided the only other move was to take off the wheels. As soon as the wheel was moved, the kitten was snatched up and put into a box.
The kitten was turned over to the Portage Animal Protective League.
